Kring \u00e5rsskiftet 1978-79 uppl\u00f6stes TBC. 1981 sl\u00e4pptes postumt en Live-ep med bandet, ineh\u00e5llande en inspelning som hade gjorts h\u00f6sten 1978. \nBC b\u00f6rjade 1974 som Sex f\u00f6rd\u00f6mda m\u00e4n, ett bluesrock band men bytte stil 1976 n\u00e4r punken b\u00f6rjade komma. Christer Stattin hade varit i England i slutet av 1976 och sett bland annat Clash och Jam. N\u00e4r han \u00e5terkom hade han Sex Pistols debutplatta \u2013 Anarchy in the U.K i bagaget. Bandet adderade Anarchy till repertoaren (en inspelning fr\u00e5n december 1976 finns bevarad. Lars Gill\u00e8n minns: Vi l\u00e4rde oss snabbt l\u00e5ten, men ingen kunde h\u00f6ra riktigt vad som sj\u00f6ngs i texten, s\u00e5 det blev som det blev.)<\/p>\n
\nGruppen hade replokal i omr\u00e5det kring \u00c5backa Dagcenter och i utbyte mot att man spelade f\u00f6r dagcentrets klientel, slapp man betala hyra. Det var med andra ord p\u00e5 dagcentret TBC genomf\u00f6rde sin debutspelling sommaren -78. P\u00e5 h\u00f6sten samma \u00e5r medverkade bandet i TV-programmet \u201dIgelkotten\u201d. Lars minns: Temat p\u00e5 programmet var arbetsl\u00f6shet. Vi spelade l\u00e5tarna, \u201dR\u00e4tt till jobb\u201d och \u201dL\u00e5ng v\u00e4g till jobbet\u201d live i en verkstadslokal i Holmsunda. Det k\u00e4ndes sm\u00e5tt bisarrt att st\u00e5 d\u00e4r mellan upphissade bilar och spela.<\/p>\n
\nLars Gill\u00e9n: Jag fick sparken av basisten (han hade kontroll \u00f6ver replokalen) anledningen var att han inte ville att jag skulle spela med Steve Roper Band, fast jag gjort det i 2 \u00e5r utan problem, dom andra i bandet fattade inget, och allt rann ut i sanden. Drygt ett \u00e5r senare slutade jag i Steve Roper Band och drog ig\u00e5ng Pinheads.<\/p>\n
